Mugged man left with head injury
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was attacked in a main shopping street in Dover, Kent.

The 32-year-old from Gillingham was discovered on Friday evening in Biggin Street. Police said he had suffered a serious head injury.

A Kent Police spokesman said the man's wallet was missing after the attack.

He was taken to King's College Hospital in London, where his condition is serious but stable. Police are appealing for witnesses.

The man was found at about 2100 GMT and police said there would have been many people in the area including taxi drivers.
