Family in home attack identified
Police have named the Kent business owners who were attacked in their home by robbers demanding keys.

John and Melanie Fox and their adult daughter were attacked in Hawksdown Road, Walmer, near Deal, on Friday.

The gang wanted keys to Crabble Post Office and the Londis store in Cherry Tree Avenue, both in Dover, which the family run.

Officers recovered a car in St Margaret's at Cliffe which they believe the robbers used to flee the scene.

Police have described the attack on the family as brutal.

The men were said to have all been white and aged in their 20s.

One was 5ft 11in tall, slim, with fair hair, and was wearing a white hooded top, dark trousers and pink fingerless gloves.

A second man was described as 6ft tall, of slim to medium build, and wearing a dark hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms tucked into socks.

The third robber was said to be 6ft tall and of medium build.

Neither of the two shops was raided.
