Playhouse reopens with workshops
Sevenoaks Playhouse
The building first opened as the Stag Theatre in 1983
A theatre and cinema complex shut down in Sevenoaks because of mounting debts will partly reopen next week.

Drama classes and workshops will take place at the theatre, now called The Stag at the Playhouse, for Kent youngsters during the school half term.

Two cinemas are also set to reopen at the Sevenoaks Playhouse complex.

It comes three months after the former management company handed back the keys to Sevenoaks District Council and went into liquidation.

Interim managers will operate the complex for six months until a more permanent arrangement is made.

The Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra is to mark the reopening of the theatre with a performance on 12 November.
