The badly-decomposed bodies of an elderly man and woman have been found by police in a rural Kent village.

Officers called to an address in Spout Lane, Brenchley, on Thursday, are not treating the deaths as murder.

Police said the deaths are being treated as suspicious until post-mortem tests establish the cause of death.

The area was cordoned off on Thursday evening. The pair have not been named, and their family have not yet been traced or informed, Kent Police said.
