A body found at the entrance to a supermarket car park in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, has been identified as that of 17-year-old Terry Edmonds.

The teenager, who lived in a homeless hostel nearby, was last seen on Easter Monday in north Tonbridge.

Her body was found by the Morrisons car park in Vale Avenue on Saturday. A post-mortem examination has been carried out.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said a local man had been arrested.

On Thursday, Terry's mother Helen, and her former stepfather Paul Garty, made an appeal for the public's help in finding the teenager.
