A woman unlucky in love has advertised herself on the internet in an attempt to find "Mr Right".

Hayley Williams, 36, from Sevenoaks, in Kent, is also hoping to raise money for charity and has offered a free night out to the highest bidder.

She said: "I'm looking for somebody that's caring and loving, and not going to mess me around."

Five offers have so far been made with the top bid currently at £80.50. The auction finishes on 12 April.

The highest bidder will be able to take Miss Williams on a date to celebrity chef Gary Rhodes' restaurant in London for a complimentary meal.

The money raised by the auction will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Miss Williams, who works for an asset management company, said she has not had much success in finding her ideal partner because there is just "too much competition".

She said: "I'm looking for Mr Right and hoping that he's out there somewhere, using this site.

"I'm a lovely person, I have got so much love to give, but it's got to be to the right person.

"I haven't met the right guy yet so I thought I'd give the auction a go."

Miss Williams said she was hoping to meet a man of about the same age who preferably has children, or would like too, likes the outdoors and is over 5ft 7in tall.

"I'm just looking for somebody to have fun with," she said.
