Sir David Attenborough opened Maidstone's dinosaur exhibition
Naturalist and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough has opened an exhibition based on the BBC's Walking With Dinosaurs TV series.

Sir David toured the exhibition at Maidstone Museum on Saturday.

The museum is the first to host the touring exhibition, which features some of the computer technology and science behind the award-winning series.

"Children's interest in dinosaurs means we expect a very high number of visitors," said Councillor Brian Moss.

The exhibition mixes the cutting-edge technology used to bring dinosaurs to life in the BBC series alongside the museum's own collection of dinosaur artefacts.

"It is a great honour to have Sir David Attenborough visiting the museum," said manager Simon Lace.

"It illustrates our capacity to put on exciting and high-quality exhibitions and also the high regard in which the museum is held by experts such as Sir David."
