Man arrested after pub shooting

Police are talking to people at the pub at the time of the shooting
A pub in a Kent town has been cordoned off after an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg on Friday evening.

Armed police were called to the incident at the White Lion pub, in Cheriton High Street, Folkestone.

The victim, a local man, was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound which police said was not life-threatening.

A 35-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Officers remain at the pub questioning potential witnesses.
