Abandoned bag shuts train station
A controlled explosion was carried out on a train in Kent after a suspicious package was found.

The train was evacuated at Headcorn railway station early on Monday evening and the station closed.

A bomb disposal team was called in to carry out the explosion, but the bag was found to contain women's clothing.

Kent Police said the bag was believed to have been lost and the incident is not being treated as a hoax.
