A road that has taken a year to build and will take traffic serving a paper mill away from residential areas, opens this week in Kent.
The Milton and Kemsley distributor road in Sittingbourne includes a bridge to take the road over the railway line, and acoustic fencing.
Kent County Council said the multi-million pound road had been fully-funded by the developer.
It was built to serve the paper mill and residents and businesses nearby.
The road links Sittingbourne to the A249, which is also undergoing improvements.
