Children's film hits big screen
cinema audience
The film will be shown at matinee performances
A Kent cinema is preparing to screen a short film made by school children to educate their peers about the effects of anti-social behaviour.

Eyes and Ears raises issues such as vandalism and graffiti, using animated puppets voiced by local youngsters.

The two minute film will be shown over a two week period, in between matinee showings of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Windsor Cinema, Broadstairs.

So far it has been seen by 8,000 children across the Thanet area.

The film has received praise from the Home Office's Anti-Social Behaviour Unit.

It was originally launched at Newington Infants School last September and will now make its debut at the big screen on Friday.
