More time granted in murder case
Police have been granted an extension to carry on questioning a 36-year-old man in connection with the death of a 68-year-old man in Folkestone.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was found at his home in London Street late on Monday night.

A post-mortem examination concluded the pensioner had been stabbed. Kent Police are conducting a murder inquiry.

The 36-year-old man, also from the Folkestone area, was taken into custody early on Tuesday.
