Four bottles of potentially lethal chloroform stolen from a laboratory in Kent have been found intact.
A box with the 2.5 litre bottles in was taken from Abbott Laboratories on the Isle of Sheppey on Friday.
Kent Police said the bottles had been found on the island at about 1100 BST on Saturday but would not reveal the exact location.
Warnings had been issued about the chemical which is toxic and can be fatal if swallowed or inhaled.
But police said the theft of the chloroform had not resulted in any injuries.
No-one had so far been arrested over the incident but investigations were still on-going, police said
