Crash claims life of third person
A third person has died after a collision between a car and a bus which killed a woman and a young child.

The accident between a single-decker Arriva bus and a green Mazda happened on the A26 Tonbridge Road, in Teston, on Saturday at about 1400 BST.

A 28-year-old woman and a seven-year-old girl died at the scene, while the driver of the car - a 29-year-old woman - died on Sunday.

Kent Police said all of the victims were in the car and from Tonbridge.

Five of the bus passengers received minor injuries - some had to be freed from under seats.

Police said on Monday that the woman who died at the scene of the accident was a front seat passenger in the car, while the child had been sitting in the back.

They were unable to confirm whether the victims were related, and said next-of-kin still had to be informed.

Any witnesses to the incident are being urged to come forward.
