The nephew of Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna is making his car racing debut at the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent.

Bruno Senna, who has raced karts since the age of 10, is racing in two Formula BMW races on Saturday and Sunday.

Before the event, Senna said: "I have done a test programme at two UK circuits and now feel I am familiar enough with the car to go racing."

The 20-year-old said: "The important thing is to try to qualify in the top 10 places."

Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna was killed in a crash at the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, near Bologna in Italy - he was just 34-years-old.
