Arrests after fresh drugs raids
Police target an address
More than 100 people have been targeted by police during the raids.
A third series of raids has been carried out to crack down on the illegal drugs trade in Medway.

More than 20 addresses were targeted on Wednesday as part of a campaign which the police say is the biggest operation of its kind in the county.

Initial raids last week saw about 50 people arrested and charged, with more than a dozen suspected offenders held after the latest raids.

Police say their aim is to crack down on the supply of Class A drugs.

'Significant impact'

Operation Commando has been planned for six months with more than 100 people targeted for alleged involvement with illegal drugs.

Det Sgt Andy Gent, said: "The majority of the people arrested have been for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply of possession of drugs.

"I am fairly confident that when we have finished this we will have well over 80 or 90 arrests in total and it will make a significant impact on the class A drugs supply in the Medway towns."
