Driver admits North Lincolnshire double death crash

A 46-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving following a crash in North Lincolnshire which killed two people.

John Spink, from Winteringham, admitted the charge at Grimsby Crown Court. He will be sentenced on 31 March.

Spink's car collided with another car on the A1077 on 12 August last year, which resulted in the deaths of Peggy Nolan, 83, and Gordon Cousen, 79.

Mr Cousen died in Hull Royal Infirmary almost a month after the collision.

Ms Nolan was killed in the crash in South Ferriby.
