One killed after car strikes tree

One person has died and three others have been seriously hurt after a car hit a tree in north east Lincolnshire.

Humberside Police said four people were travelling in a Vauxhall Corsa on Yarborough Road in Grimsby at about 0230 GMT when the collision happened.

The three who were seriously hurt are not believed to be in a life-threatening condition, police said.

Witnesses or anyone who saw the vehicle's movement before the crash should contact police.
