Woman dies when car leaves road

A woman has died when her car was involved in a crash in Hull.

Police said she was driving a black Renault Clio on the A63 in the South Cave area in the early hours of Sunday when it left the road and crashed.

The woman, who is believed to be in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. She has not yet been identified.

The road was closed for a number of hours as officers carried out investigations. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
