Four held over 'suspicious death'

Four men have been arrested after a man was found dead with serious injuries at a house in Grimsby.

Officers were alerted by paramedics after the man was found at a property on Heneage Road on Friday afternoon.

Police said the circumstances surrounding his death were unclear and officers want to speak to a man who raised the alarm with a neighbour.

The four arrested men, aged in their 40s, 50s and 60s, remained in police custody on Saturday.

Det Ch Insp Bob Clark, who is leading the inquiry, said: "This appears to have been an isolated incident which occurred within the building and we are currently interviewing the four arrested throughout the course of last night.

"The circumstances which led to this serious incident are still not clear at this time making it vital that anyone with information no matter how small it may seem comes forward.

"We are also very keen to speak to a potential witness who initially raised the alarm at a neighbouring flat but didn't leave any details at the time."
