Two charged with Pc rail attack

A man and a teenager have been charged after a police officer was assaulted at Hull railway station.

The officer suffered a broken nose after a man he was removing from the station became aggressive and attacked him on Monday night.

British Transport Police said a second male was also involved in the attack.

A 23-year men and a youth of 17 have been charged with assaulting a police officer and obstructing a police officer.

Det Con Roy McMicheal appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
