CCTV used for bonfire crackdown

Fire crews in East Yorkshire will be using mobile CCTV cameras in a crackdown on dangerous bonfires in the run up to Bonfire Night.

Humberside Fire and Rescue are working with police on the zero-tolerance scheme.

Any footage gathered will be used to catch and prosecute those responsible.

Posters warning people about the dangers of setting off fireworks and starting bonfires will be distributed in bonfire hotspots.
