Woman killed in road crash named

A woman who died in a crash between a car and a motorbike in North Lincolnshire has been named by police.

Mandy Lynne Stephenson, 43, from Sheffield, was a front seat passenger in a Citroen AX which collided with a motorbike on the A161 on Saturday.

Police said a 20-month-old girl and her 29-year-old mother, who were also passengers in the car, were injured and remain in hospital.

The bike rider, a 47-year-old man from Scunthorpe, remains in hospital.

Police said the injured girl and woman, also from Sheffield, were in a poorly but stable condition.

The Citroen driver, a 47-year-old man, suffered a fracture to the finger and received medical attention but was not detained in hospital.

Humberside police are still appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them.
