Police will be stepping up patrols at railway stations in the region as thousands of football fans prepare to travel to play-off finals at Wembley.
Officers will be travelling on Hull, Leeds and Doncaster train services to and from London at the weekend.
On Saturday, Hull City FC play Bristol City and Leeds United play Doncaster Rovers on Sunday.
British Transport Police (BTP) said no alcohol would be allowed on designated train services to and from London.
Ch Insp Jane Townsley, from the BTP, said: "Our message to those travelling to the game is to enjoy yourselves but be respectful of others.
"BTP will be out in force and football banning orders will be sought for anyone committing a football related offence."
Fans are being warned that alcohol is not being allowed in some key London underground stations.
