Refuse workers pelted with bricks
Refuse workers had to halt rubbish collections after they were pelted with bricks and stones in North Lincolnshire.

The team were collecting kerbside recycling boxes in the Barton area when they came under attack on Tuesday.

A North Lincolnshire Council spokesman called the attackers' attitudes "mindless" and "extremely dangerous".

The council said teams would return to collect any boxes that were not emptied.
