Terror suspect's custody extended
A man arrested under the Terrorism Act after potentially explosive materials were seized at a house in Goole is to be detained for a further seven days.

The 31-year-old was arrested by officers on Wednesday following a search of a house in Pasture Road.

On Friday a court approved a warrant to detain the man for seven days.

He was being held pending further inquiries by officers from the counter-terrorism unit and the results of forensic tests, police said.
