Man charged over woman's murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a Latvian woman whose body was found at a house in Hull.

Olita Kauskala, 29, had been in the UK for about a year when she was found dead at the property in Ash Grove, off Greek Street, on Sunday.

Andrejs Tarasenko, 32, who is also from Latvia, will appear before Hull magistrates later.

Humberside Police said Ms Kauskala's mother, who still lives in Latvia, had been informed of her death.
