Teenage cyclist hurt in car crash
A 14-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Grimsby, police have said.

The boy, who has not been named, was riding on the A16 Peaks Parkway near the Welholme Road junction when the accident happened on Thursday morning.

He was taken to the Diana Princess of Wales hospital where his condition was said to be stable.

The 31-year-old car driver was uninjured. The road was closed for several hours after the accident.

Police urged anyone who saw the accident to contact them.
