Police investigating the death of a Grimsby father-of-four have arrested three men on suspicion of murder.

Jamie Eskrett, 37, was found with serious injuries by police who were called to his home in Blaydon Grove on Sunday night after reports of a fight.

He was taken to hospital where he died. A post-mortem examination was being carried out on Monday.

Two other men were also injured in the incident. Police are continuing to question three men, aged 37, 38 and 39.

Det Ch Insp Sharon Fielding urged anyone with information about the incident to "do the right thing" and contact them.

"We know people are talking about it and we know people local to that area will know who was responsible for taking the man's life," she said.

"Whatever dispute has taken place, and whatever it was about, the outcome is tragic. It is devastating for the family involved and worrying for the whole community."

Forensic tests have been carried out at the scene and house-to-house inquiries are ongoing.
