A 12-year-old girl who died after being hit by a car in Scunthorpe has been named by police.
Lucy-Alice Winter was on the edge of the pavement in Burringham Road talking with friends when she lost her balance and fell in front of a car on Friday.
She was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital where she died from severe head injuries.
The 24-year-old driver from Kirton Lindsey was uninjured in the incident which closed the road for five hours.
