Plans to boost tourism in the Yorkshire Wolds are being drawn up at a meeting of business and council leaders.
The Yorkshire Wolds Tourism Partnership is revealing the findings of a study on tourism potential in Driffield, Market Weighton and Pocklington on Tuesday.
The partnership, made up of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, the three town councils and local businesses, believes day-trippers can be lured to the area.
Its plans include promoting cycling, walking and horse-riding trails.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council estimates that tourism is worth £300m a year to the local economy, with the Yorkshire Wolds accounting for around 25% of that.
Andy Gray, the council's principal marketing officer for tourism, said: "With the right co-operation between businesses, local people and councils we can bring a lot more money into the area.
"Today's event is an opportunity for businesses that have an interest in tourism to have an input into the way the area is developed and promoted for tourism in the future."
