Police have spent a second day investigating the cause of a fatal crash on the M62 at the border of East and West Yorkshire.
Emergency crews were called to the eastbound carriageway at junction 34 on Tuesday after a car ploughed into the back of a broken down lorry.
The driver, Gary Wayne Millard, 38, of The Fairway, Normanton, died at the scene. The lorry driver was unhurt.
Three lanes of the motorway were closed between junctions 33 and 35.
Drivers faced added chaos when two lorries and two cars later collided close to junction 33.
Three people had to be cut from the wreckage of the vehicles.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed one person was taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield.
