Remembering lives lost on roads
A book of remembrance is again being opened in Hull for people who have died in road accidents.

The city council opens a new book every year so friends and relatives can remember loved ones who have died on the roads.

In addition, a memorial service for the victims of road crashes will be held at St Mary's church in Hull in November.

"It is important we keep in mind the tragic loss of life on our roads," said Councillor Gary Wareing.

"Although our roads are much safer than a decade ago we realise the trauma and suffering that each fatal crash can cause."
