Men held after house knife raid

Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed raid at a house in Grimsby.

Two men with knives forced their way into the home in Shelley Avenue, Nunsthorpe, after a girl answered a knock at the door.

Her father tried to disarm the men and suffered cuts to his hands and head during the incident early on Friday.

Humberside Police said two men were being questioned in Grimsby. They appealed for witnesses.
