Tributes paid to death crash men
Colleagues of two council refuse collectors have paid tribute to the men after they died in a car crash.

Don Bolton and Justin Stanley, both aged 33, were on their way home when their car was in collision with another as they left Carnaby Industrial Estate.

Colleagues at East Riding of Yorkshire Council have been devastated by the news, a council spokeswoman said.

She added the "popular workers would be sadly missed".

Thoughts with family

"The two colleagues were popular members of the front-line teams and will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of working with them," said the spokeswoman.

"Our thoughts are with the family at this time."

A 30-year-old Richmond man was taken to Scarborough Hospital with minor injuries and later released.

A second man is said to be in a satisfactory condition in hospital.

The accident forced the road to be closed for six hours and Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
