Police say there appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of man who is thought to have fallen from the Humber Bridge.
It is believed the 58-year-old man from Hull plunged from the east footway just after 1900 BST on Tuesday.
A helicopter from RAF Leconfield and the Humber Coastguard were scrambled to search for him and found his body in the water.
Humberside Police say they are treating the incident as a sudden death.
