Appeal for asylum seeker parcels
Asylum seekers
Residents are being asked to help with food parcels
A charity in Hull is appealing for food parcels to help feed up to 20 refugee families a week.

The Hull Asylum Seeker Support Group claims many people are being forced to live on handouts when trying to stay in the country.

It also claims many refugees are forced to live on the streets after Government help is withdrawn when permission to stay in Britain is refused.

Residents are being asked to donate food parcels in a bid to help families.
