Air crash investigations continue
The crash scene
The Cessna came down some way from any houses
Investigations are continuing into the plane crash in East Yorkshire that killed a flying instructor and his pupil.

The Cessna 310 came down close to the village of Hotham, west of Hull, at around 1200 GMT on Saturday.

It had taken off about 20 minutes earlier from Humberside Airport on the opposite bank of the Humber.

Police said the instructor was a 63-year-old man from North Lincolnshire. The student was 33 and from Scotland.

The alarm was raised by a man walking his dog who saw the plane come down.

The wreckage is spread across a field some way from any houses.

Humberside Police say crash investigators are examining the scene.

They have appealed for anyone who saw the plane during its 20 minutes in the air to contact them so they can trace its exact route from northern Lincolnshire to East Yorkshire.
