Detectives investigating the death of skydiver Stephen Hilder say they do not believe he committed suicide.
Stephen Hilder fell 13,000ft to his death when his parachute failed.
Humberside Police are continuing to treat his death as murder.
Mr Hilder, 20, from Hereford, fell to his death above Hibaldstow Airfield, North Lincolnshire last July when his parachute failed to open.
Detective Superintendent Colin Andrews said he has found nothing that suggested Mr Hilder had intended to take his own life.
The officer cadet from the Royal Military College of Science at Shrivenham, Oxfordshire, fell 13,000 feet to his death after his parachutes were tampered with.
Mr Andrews continued: "I have always believed Stephen was killed in what I can only describe as a very wicked crime.
"Until we find out exactly what happened we will not be in a position to rule out any possibility.
"However all the evidence so far points to murder."
