Police caught four people driving over 100mph
A speed detection campaign on a trunk road caught motorists driving at more than 100mph.

Grimsby Police carried out the crackdown on 9 to 11 May along the A46 Laceby Bypass.

Officers issued 27 fixed penalties, seven summons and seven cautions.

Four people were caught driving over 100mph, with the highest 112mph.

A police spokeswoman said: "The objective of the highly visible campaign was to increase awareness among motorists of the dangers of speeding coupled with a reduction in casualities."
