River Wye flood warning issued

Two flood warnings issued in Herefordshire have been downgraded.

Earlier warnings along the River Wye from Hay to Hereford and for the city itself have been downgraded to flood watches by the Environment Agency.

One flood warning remains for the river from Hereford to Ross-on-Wye where flooding was expected.

The Met Office has also warned that more heavy rain is to come, especially on Saturday, which will fall on already saturated ground.

More than 80 flood warnings and watches have been put in place across England and Wales.
