Number of turbines to be halved

The number of turbines planned for a wind farm in Worcestershire will be halved from 10 to five, its developer has said.

The plans by Scottish Power Renewables would see the turbines built at Lenchwick, near the Vale of Evesham.

Nearby residents have protested against the plans saying the turbines would be noisy and damage the landscape.

Scottish Power has said it would consult residents before submitting a planning application.

The company was due to meet residents later this week.
