Man killed and six hurt in crash

A motorist died and up to six more people were injured in a crash in Worcestershire.

A man in his 60s died at the scene of the crash on the A4103 near Bransford, Worcester, on Saturday evening.

A woman in the same vehicle suffered a broken pelvis. Three others in another car involved in the crash were also taken to hospital.

A man in his 20s arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving was released on bail.

The driver of the second car, a man in his 20s, was treated for a knee injury while two women in their 20, from the same car, were treated for chest, neck, back and head injuries.

Two more women in their 20s, who had left the scene to get help, later went to hospital.
