Gas fears following lorry crash

Overturned LPG lorry in Worcester
The B4084 was closed and an exclusion zone set up

An exclusion zone was set up in Worcester after a lorry carrying liquid petroleum gas overturned.

The 800m (875 yards) zone was put in place around the scene of the crash, which happened at about 0820 BST on Friday in the Drakes Broughton area.

The lorry was carrying seven tonnes of gas. The B4084 was closed but it reopened later.

Earlier a spokesman said firefighters were monitoring for gas leaks but no-one had been hurt.
