Wind farm protesters arrange walk

Villagers protesting about plans for a wind farm in Worcestershire have organised a walk so people can see where the turbines will be sited.

Scottish Power Renewables wants to put 10 turbines at Lenchwick, near the Vale of Evesham, in Worcestershire.

Some Lenchwick residents are opposed to the scheme. Saturday's walk along the Wychavon Way is designed to allow people to view the affected area.

Scottish Power has said plans were at an early stage.

It will consult with residents before deciding whether to proceed with a full planning application, a spokesman said.
