Police say they are growing increasingly concerned about two friends from Herefordshire who have not been seen since Tuesday night.

Andrew Smith, 40, and Paul Smith, 43, from Leominster, who are not related, were last seen in the town centre and reported missing on Wednesday morning.

West Mercia Police said officers had been searching using dog teams.

"Temperatures have been very low all day and we are very worried about them," a spokesman said on Wednesday.

Andrew Smith has been described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with short blond hair.

He was wearing blue jeans, a dark top and possibly a tartan jacket, police said.

Paul Smith has been described as white, 5ft 9ins tall, with grey receding hair.

He was wearing blue jeans, a green jacket and striped sweatshirt.
