Talk over future county education

The future of education will be under the spotlight in Herefordshire less than a year after plans to merge up to 40 schools were dropped.

Council members and head teachers will discuss issues over education in the county next Tuesday.

In February, county council leader Roger Phillips said there would be no closure or major reorganisation of high schools during this administration.

Thousands of people had marched through Hereford to protest over plans.
