More job losses have been announced at an insulation manufacturing firm in north Herefordshire.

Kingspan said 18 further jobs would be axed at its factory in Pembridge, near Leominister.

The firm, which experienced 10 years of consecutive growth between 1997 and 2007, had previously announced 64 redundancies in June.

It said a downturn in the construction industry and a tough economic climate was to blame for the job cuts.

The company employs about 350 people and has been based in Shobden Industrial Estate for 22 years.
