Power back on after lorry crash

Power has been restored to homes in Worcestershire after a lorry crashed into two electricity pylons.

Forty-four homes were without power following the crash at 1100 BST on Thursday on the A451 at Ismere, near Kidderminster. The driver was unhurt.

Central Networks restored power to 31 customers by 2100 BST and reconnected the last homes by 0230 BST on Friday.

The road between Kidderminster and Stourbridge was closed for repairs but reopened in the early hours.
