Arson murder accused is remanded

A man accused of starting a house fire in which another man died has been remanded in custody.

Father-of-three Richard Perkins, 37, was found dead in a bedroom at his home in The Glades on the Pound Bank estate, Malvern, Worcestershire, on 13 October.

His wife and children suffered smoke inhalation in the blaze.

Stephen George-Davies, 50, of Oak Crescent, Malvern, is accused of murder and arson and is due before Worcester Crown Court on 23 February.
